Symphony of the Sea (Sinfonía del Mar) is one of the most iconic landmarks in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. This open-air amphitheater is built on the cliffs of the traditional area of the city, offering a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.
Inaugurated on January 1, 1971, as part of a project aimed at strengthening Acapulco’s cultural and tourism activities. Its construction took advantage of the natural rock formations along the coastline.
Since its opening, the venue has hosted concerts, festivals, artistic performances, and community events. Today, it continues to serve as an important space for promoting art and culture while representing one of the most recognizable landmarks in the port city.
